FLOWER MARKET 

Open daily from 0430-0800. 

Fabulous flower and plant market. 

This is mostly a wholesale market, but the vendors will sell retail.

 Go early(!) for the best selection and for ease of parking. 

This is one of the most beautiful markets in Naples. 

There is a wide variety of flowers and plant life available. 

The area is alive with color and wonderful flower scents. 

The market is located in the dry moat around the Castel Nuovo in Piazza Municipio in downtown Naples. If you don't wish to drive, take the Metropolitana from Bagnoli to the Montesanto exit ( the metro starts running around 0530.) Exit the station and walk straight one block. Turn left and follow this street straight to Via Roma / Via Toledo. Turn right onto Via Toledo and walk straight all the way to the water (about a 15 minute walk). When you reach the Royal Palace and San Carlo Opera House, turn left, walking between the place and Galleria Umberto. You will see the enormous Castel Nuovo on the right.
